Microcomputers were invented in 1977 and became widely utilised in the 1980s, giving rise to home computer systems. These computers were readily available to customers and were reasonably priced. Anyone who is not technically inclined can utilise his machines. The cost of home computers was far lower than that of corporate, scientific, and engineering computers since they were targeted at a particular market group. Some of these machines had IBM PCs, which had erratic and meagre memory. A good draw for home computers was their graphics. Its audio system was likewise superior to that of the office computers. Video games were played on home computers the majority of the time.

Today, a variety of functions are performed on home computers, including entertainment, games, email, voice messaging, etc (Mumford, E., & Henshall, D, 1978).

Because of the way people conduct business and the fact that most computers are used for study and entertainment rather than running resource-intensive software, computer manufacturers are now making devices that can be used both at home and in the office. In some cases, this means that homes may have more powerful computers than offices.

In light of the client’s requirements, particularly the nature of the business, which necessitates highly secure computer systems and the cooperation of lawyers, I believe that their requirements are as follows:

Components for data input: These are the elements that will enable people enter data into computers.

For all computers, an optical mouse and a QWERTY keyboard are required.

Installing scanners is a good idea for scanning crucial papers. Installing a high-quality scanner will ensure that readable, high-quality photographs are produced.

Components for Output: These components will assist users to obtain any Output from the Computer.

The business needs to instal printers.

For all lawyers, a monitor with a high-quality display is a need.

For use in the meeting room

The meeting room should have high-quality audio speakers.

Materials for Storage: The parts that are used to store data are as follows:

Hard disc: In systems with a capacity of roughly 500 GB, SATA hard discs should be used.

Devices for External Storage: For rapid data transfer or for transporting the data, several storage devices like CD-Drives and pen drives are employed.

Hardware elements The hardware parts can be applied to processing as well as other things:

RAM: A system should have 4GB of RAM for faster processing and the ability to run multiple tasks at once.
